CoolTan Arts CoolWalks - Film Locations in the Borough

Lights! Camera! Action! Enjoyed your favourite films and box-sets over Christmas? Why not join CoolTan Arts CoolWalks on a free guided walk to work off a mince pie or two and follow the footsteps of Dickens, Bridget Jones and Harry Potter to get up close and personal with the streets and buildings of Borough and Bankside that many familiar films have used as their backdrop. Learn new things, make friends, get fit and have fun.

Start at John Harvard Library at 12:30pm and finish at Tate Modern at 2:00pm.

The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and we would ask participants to wear sensible walking footwear and weather appropriate clothing.

·  CoolWalks is accredited by Walking for Health (http://www.walkingforhealth.org.uk/about-us), a national scheme for health walk schemes, and Southwark NHS Public Health (http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/200462/public_health). Our free, public walks contain between an hour and 1.5hours of physical walking activity. Added to this are regular stops to learn about Southwark or take a break. 
·  Our walks are designed for all abilities of walkers from beginner to accomplished rambler, and are fully accessible for all levels of mobility needs. If you have any questions about the intensity of the walk, please contact Robert Larkin-Frost (email: coolwalksinfo@gmail.com) beforehand or with one of our trained walk leaders on the day, and we can tailor the walk to your needs. 

·  We want to enjoy your company for the entire walk and want everyone to complete the whole route for each walk. We understand that this is not always possible and anyone is free to leave at any time. For maximum health benefits we recommend participating for at least 30mins.
