Arts CoolWalks invites you to join us on a free guided stroll along the canals,
docks, warehouses and old streets of Canada Water and Rotherhithe. Together we'll explore the area's history,
industry and architecture past and present that today make modern Canada
Water.
Learn new things, make friends,
get fit and have fun.
Saturday 13th September from 12.30pm to approximately 3.30
pm.
Start & Finish: Canada Water Library, 21 Surrey Quays Road,
SE16 7AR
Tube: Canada Water, Surrey Quays
Train: South Bermondsey
Bus: 1, 47, 188, 199, 225, 381, C10, P12
The walk is approximately 5 miles and we would ask participants to wear
sensible walking footwear and to bring plenty of water, sun cream and a sun hat
- we are very optimistic!
There will be an opportunity to stop for something to eat about halfway
through so please bring a packed lunch or some money for sandwiches. Participants
can leave the walk at any point.
